A new UCC initiative here in MN. PET stands for Personal Energy Transportation, and involves building and distributing a three wheeled, hand powered cart for use in developing countries by folks without use of their lower limbs. We are excited to get going!

BETTER TOGETHER Members from 4 Christian Churches joined together Fri. & Sat. March 16-17 near Prague, Ok to help re-build a home damaged by an earthquake in Jan.

Our youth will be traveling to Sacramento, California on a mission trip to share the gospel with our sister congregation up there. They have been busied raising funds for thier trip, but still they need more help for this trip. The planned trip will be next week, March 16-19, 2012. We are accepting any tips from anybody as contribution for this mission. Again thank you very much!

from the Russellville Community Church (400 members in a town of 330), our youth recently held a spaghetti luncheon to raise money for mission. One of our members, Nancy McGaughey, is a missionary in South Sudan, working to train health care workers through ACROSS (a ministry affiliated with the Presbyterian Church- PCUSA). Nancy had shared that the new Sunday School building in her community in S. Sudan needed benches. In one day, our small church raised over $1200 for this global need! Closer to home, we run a food pantry, after-school ministry, 3-day church camp, and participate in a Habitat Build. God is faithful!!
