In partnership with Justapaz, the Mennonite Churches in Colombia, and the Central Atlantic Conference of the United Church of Christ, the Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ seeks to:

• Deepen the relationship between churches in the United States and Colombia and encourage spiritual growth and commitment to the mission of the Church through prayer, Bible study and worship; 
  
• Expand our knowledge and understanding of the history and causes of violence in Colombia; 
  
• Stand in solidarity with Colombians who have been displaced by violence; 
  
• Collaborate with partners in relief efforts and community building programs to improve the health and welfare of Colombians who have been displaced by violence; 
  
• Work for policies in the United States and Colombia that support peace and human rights in Colombia as well as assistance to Colombians who have been displaced by violence; 
  
• Collaborate in this mission with churches and other organizations who share these objectives.
