The South Africa Council of Churches  (SACC) is distributing a flyer during the World Cup to raise awareness about poverty in South Africa. The General Secretary of the SACC, Mr Eddie Makue, indicated to the Global Ministries Africa office the folllowing: "We are excited about the Fifa World Cup. The national euphoria is infectious. SACC remains concerned about the legacy that will follow on this auspicious event..."
