Update on tunnel farming from Jon and Dawn Barnes in South Africa
The Kei Region of South Africa is a predominantly rural area, consisting of many small villages which dot the landscape.  For the past few years, the churches of the United Church of Southern Africa (UCCSA) have been attempting to help their communities grow their own vegetables through the use of 'tunnel' farming.  Read more at: http://globalministries.org/africa/missionaries/worm-farming-project.html

Send Prayers and Wishes to Bethlehem for Christmas 2009
Advent is here and so is an opportunity to send Christmas solidarity messages to people living under occupation. For the 10th consecutive year, Christmas celebrations will take place in a difficult climate for people in the Holy Land. As we prepare to celebrate Advent and Christmas in the security of our homes and communities, let us not forget to pray for justice, peace and security for Palestine and Israel.  Read more at: http://globalministries.org/news/mee/send-prayers-and-wishes-to.html
