We have recieved an update on the situation in Haiti from Global Ministries main partner in Haiti, CONASPEH. The president of CONASPEH, Patrick Villier, recently wrote to indicate the following: "The four hurricanes which passed over Haiti caused lots of problems.All the bridges are broken and the communication with people in the countryside is very difficult. More than 40,000 people lost their houses, gardens, papers, animals... The Government had to close the school, because all the things the families have bought have been destroyed by water during the hurricanes. Thanks for your prayers and support."

Emergency funds for Haiti as well as other islands have been secured with the support of OGHS and Week of Compassion as well as churches and individuals through Global Ministries Resource Development office.  Please keep our sisters and brothers in Haiti in your prayers.
