spacer CMEP Action Alert: Call on President Obama to Recommit to the Peace Process

Last week Israel announced that it is planning to move ahead with building more than 1,300 new housing units in East Jerusalem. If Jerusalem is going to be a shared city – an integral part of any negotiated peace – then this construction, which changes the landscape of a two-state solution, must stop now.

The President needs to show that he is truly committed to the peace process. And he needs to show it now. A broad base of public support can encourage President Obama to make the difficult decisions needed to pursue peace. Write President Obama today. Tell him that he must address these latest threats to the peace process.

Your message can help provide the political space for President Obama to take bold action and reclaim U.S. credibility as an honest broker for peace. Take Action Now and call on him to follow through on his promises of holding all parties accountable for their actions.
