The Elections

The cold air and colorful trees of November arrived this week, and for many of us in Washington that means midterm elections. The city is abuzz about the results of Tuesday’s polling which gave the majority in the House of Representatives to Republicans, significantly narrowed Democrats majority in the Senate, and put nearly 100 new members of Congress in office. But from our perspective, the question is how will this shift affect U.S. policy in the Middle East?
