Churches for Middle East Peace has addressed a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in response to the brutal violence that took place in the Our Lady of Salvation Cathedral in Baghdad. In the letter, signed by Board Chair Martin Shupack and Executive Director Warren Clark, CMEP expresses deep concern for the violence against Iraqi Christians yesterday at the Baghdad Our Lady of Salvation Church. The letter also urges Secretary Clinton to seek U.S. policies that promote and reinforce peaceful religious coexistence in Iraq.
