With great concern, the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) follows the situation of the Church in many parts of the world. For several years we established a Sunday focused on the oppression, suffering and sometimes even persecution of Christians in many countries and regions of the world, a Sunday of prayer and intercession. After drawing attention to Iraq and India in former years, we now make aware of the Christian community in the Maghreb. Please take notice and join us in prayer and action.
