"Getting to know Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb"
Written by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land If you’re on the ELCJHL News List, or peruse the website regularly, you have a feeling for who the ELCJHL is and what it does. But it can be hard to really get to know a people and a place without visiting in person. So, over this spring and summer, the ELCJHL hopes to give you the opportunity to get to know it better by offering a series of interviews with the pastors of the ELCJHL. We begin today with the first of these interviews with Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Christmas Church in Bethlehem, and recent recipient of the prestigious Deutscher Medienpreis(German Media Prize). We hope that this and upcoming interviews will help all of us to get to know one another better. |
