During the Oregon Regional Assembly the week-end of May 14th, the Ministries and Mission Interpreters (MMIs) of the Oregon Region received a prayer shawl and were blessed by the Assembly. At the same time, two Oregon Disciples congregations were recognized for having made a commitment to Be a Global Mission Congregation. Jane Sullivan Davis, Global Ministries Resource Development Executive, was present at the Assembly and was able to present a certificate to a reprentative of Lynchwood Christian Church in Portland and Murray Hills Christian Church in Beaverton.
