Lamyong and Pouna: the two poor girls are assisted by Global Ministries to continue school since their grade 6 and grade 4 respectively. Now Lamyong grade 9 and Pouna grade 7 . Both are young leaders / volunteers at Nahay Children development center (Saysetha district, Vientiane).

Xuyen Dangers is a social worker serving in Laos/Vietnam. She serves as a Social work supervisor of Donkoi child center and 5 other centers, Social work advisor, Faculty of Social Sciences, and the National University of Laos, for Church World Service and Witness (NCCC), including projects with Disciples and UCC connections.
