The Villa Hermosa Fund for Health and Education in Haiti
Haiti
The Villa Hermosa Fund for Health and Education in Haiti was established as a permanent fund of the Division of Overseas Ministries in 2002 at the request of the trustees of the Villa Hermosa Corporation, led by outstanding Disciples Hispanic lay leader in New York City, Ferdinand Garcia, who had a special passion for ministries in the Caribbean, especially in Haiti. As it dissolved its assets, the Villa Hermosa Corporation wished to allocate a portion of its resources to the glory of God to benefit vital health and education ministries of the National Spiritual Council of Churches of Haiti (CONASPEH).
With the establishment of this Fund, all parties involved recognize the commitment of many Hispanic Disciples in the U.S. and the possible future commitment of additional brothers and sisters in the U.S. and in Puerto Rico to support the worthwhile ministries of CONASPEH, and encourage the mutual collaboration and advancement of God’s work that comes through this fruitful relationship.
The purpose of the Villa Hermosa Fund for Health and Education in Haiti is to provide support for outreach ministries in the areas of health and education of the National Spiritual Council of Churches of Haiti (CONASPEH) on an ongoing basis.
Contributions may be made to the principal of this Fund at any time. Gifts for the Villa Hermosa Fund for Health and Education in Haiti may be made online at https://donate.globalministries.org/onlinegiving or by check written to Division of Overseas Ministries and mailed to:
