EPES prepares for 7th Annual International School
On January 11th, EPES (Popular Education in Health) will be hosting their 7th Annual International Training Course on Popular Education in Health – which shares their 33 years of experience working for dignity and justice in health with participants from across Latin America and Africa.
The content is focused on training participants in EPES’s system of participatory and community-based strategies for health promotion (based on Paolo Freire’s ideas and model for Popular Education). The participants will make a plan to take back with them to their communities and execute — so the impact will be felt in Mexico, the U.S., Argentina, Canada, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, as well.
