The Pope visits Germany: Catholic-Protestant encounters

During Pope Benedict’s visit to Germany, the Pope has engaged with Protestant church leaders, including Rev. Nikolaus Schneider, head of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD).  Prases Schneider is a strong advocate for the UCC-UEK relationship of Kirchengemeinschaft, and has been both host to and guest of the UCC in Germany and in the US.
