Huntersville, North Carolina

The members of the Communion of Faith Christian Church in Huntersville, North Carolina, decided in 2010 to discontinue meeting.  Because of their love of mission, the members decided create a legacy of the congregation’s existence by establishing a permanent fund to help support short-term volunteers who serve with Global Ministries partner churches and programs around the world.  In a letter from Reverend Dara K. Cobb, Pastor, she states:  Our congregation believes that one important way we love and serve God is by loving and serving our neighbors.  Global Ministries has exemplified that love through the relationships you have built with our brothers and sisters around the world.  We are grateful to God that you take our prayers and turn them into ministry that changes the lives of many.  On behalf of a grateful congregation, thank you.  The congregation sent a gift of $50,000.00 which was used to establish the Communion of Faith Christian Church Endowment Fund, which will continue to be a lasting reminder of the ministry with God’s People of the Communion of Faith Christian Church.
