Large scale police brutality has occurred at the Krisan Refugee Camp in Ghana, both during and in retaliation to the walk-out organized by about 800 refugees and asylum seekers on November 7th and 8th.
Large scale police brutality has occurred at the Krisan Refugee Camp in Ghana, both during and in retaliation to the walk-out organized by about 800 refugees and asylum seekers on November 7th and 8th.
The aftermath has left Krisan’s 1700 refugees from 11 countries living in concentration camp-like conditions, with armed police roaming the camp hunting for organizers. Health, ration and sanitation services, including water purification, have been suspended.
