Ernest B. and Evelyn Utter Pearson Endowment Fund
Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa)
The Ernest B. and Evelyn Utter Pearson Endowment Fund was established in 1990 as a Division of Overseas Ministries permanent fund by the children of former missionaries to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ernest Evelyn Pearson. Barbara Deutsch, Dr. Paul Pearson, and Mrs. Patricia Streid wish to honor the life-time ministry and memories of their parents through this Fund, in order to provide ongoing support to work that means a great deal to their entire extended family.
The Ernest B. and Evelyn Utter Pearson Endowment Fund provides Global Ministries with resources for the ongoing support of the Bolenge Hospital, and one-half of the distributions are used for scholarships for Disciples of Christ students enrolled in the Protestant University of Congo Medical School.
Contributions may be made to the principal of this Fund at any time. Gifts for the Ernest B. and Evelyn Utter Pearson Endowment Fund should be directed to:
