All Africa Conference of Churches Statement on Russia’s Annexation of Regions in Ukraine

The All Africa Conference of Churches standing united and in solidarity with Churches and all other religious bodies across the world strongly condemn Russia’s annexation of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine.

The unjustified actions of Russia continue to heighten the state of insecurity globally and such disregard and breach of International Law and State Sovereignty only serves as a precedent for other ambitious leaders to embark on primitive conquest adventures

We call on the UN, African Union and the International Community to condemn and reject Russia’s illegal annexation of the Regions in Ukraine.
