The Blessings of Venezuela

Months of prayers, planning, and collecting supplies… emails, meetings, phone calls, a commissioning, and we were off to Venezuela!  We gratefully acknowledge the team’s co-leader, Barbara Hanst, for the fantastic job she did on all of the preparatory work here in the U.S.

The 2011 Medical Mission Team was quite diverse.  We were 10 women and 1 man who ranged in age from 26 to 72 years old.  We came from 4 cities and 5 different congregations, representing the Rocky Mountain region of UCC and DOC churches.  Along with the UEPV (Evangelical Pentecostal Union of Venezuela), this global partnership has existed for over 15 years.
