Global Ministries is saddened to learn of the death of Reverend Charles E. Mull, Jr.
Reverend Charles Everett Mull, Jr.
December 12, 1931 – December 24, 2014
Reverend Charles Mull was a graduate of Texas Christian University and Brite Divinity School; was an ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ); served as a Rural Development Missionary in Thailand; worked with the Catholic Diocese of Tucson in the Refugee Resettlement program; pastored Park Avenue Christian Church, and was a member of Saguaro Christian Church, Tucson, after retirement. Chuck also served on the Senior Housing Boards of Tucson and Phoenix Arizona, and worked as a Trust Executor in retirement, helping seniors in Tucson with estate planning and taxes. He was a beloved minister, mentor and trusted friend who always shined with a passion for serving others, long term stewardship, Bible scholarship, and support for Christian Youth Fellowship.
During Reverend Mull’s missionary assignment in Thailand he carried out evangelism work in Nakon Pathom where he was the interim pastor of the Christian Church at Nakon Pahom. He also worked in Prae where his assignment was in rural life development, evangelism and visitation with pastors.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Terry Mull, Charles is survived by his daughters: Jennette M. Liu of Silver Spring, Maryland; Lori Marie Andrews of El Monte, California; Julian Larsen of Austin, Texas; and Farrah Lezlee Sanabria of Land O’Lakes, Florida; grandchildren Michael and Patrick Reilly; Austin, Adam, and Abrielle Andrews; Chad, Jessie, and Jake Ostrander; Gavin and Ilana Sanabria; and great-grandchild Drew Reilly.
Charles Mull will be interred in the columbarium at Saguaro Christian Church.
