Christmas at Rawdat El Zuhur

The revelry of Christmas was brought to life at Rawdat El Zuhur through music, dancing and certainly by Santa’s funny and amusing gestures that left the children breathless! As Christmas celebrations would not be complete without presents Santa gave each child his own gift. This day was made possible through BibleLands and other friends. Our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for their kind support!

The theme of Christmas this year was a dialogue between the old and the new, the ensuing year 2008 and the hopes for a peaceful and loving year 2009. Contrary to all expectations and hopes, the year 2009 started with turbulence and bloodshed in Gaza. The pictures we witness on the screens of our TV’s are devastating. We need your prayers for peace in our troubled region and a soon end to the escalating violence and oppression.
