Commissioning of Kim and Patrick Bentrott
Kimberly and Patrick Bentrott were commissioned on September 28, 2008 to serve as Global Ministries missionaries in Haiti. The commissioning service was held at Sixth Avenue United Church of Christ in Denver.
Bill Nottingham, former President of the Division of Overseas Ministries represented Global Ministries at the commissioning service. Kimberly and Patrick will be serving a 4 year term in Haiti.
Patrick Bentrott, a member of Sixth Avenue United Church of Christ, Denver, Colorado, has been appointed to serve the National Spiritual Council of Churches in Haiti (CONASPEH). He will advise CONASPEH on theological education and diaconal projects and programs. He is a recent seminary graduate and is now a United Church of Christ minister.
Kimberly Bentrott, a member of United Methodist Church, Belleville, Kansas, has been appointed to serve the National Spiritual Council of Churches in Haiti (CONASPEH). She will advise CONASPEH on health care and diaconal projects and programs. Kim, a medical doctor, recently finished her residency in Family Medicine.
