Disciples and UCC General Ministers and Presidents join ecumenical leaders in a letter to President Biden on the Middle East

On Thursday, Nov. 9, the Rev. Teresa Hord Owens, General Minister and President of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and the Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson, General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ, joined 28 other Christian leaders in sending a letter to President Biden on the continuing crisis in the Middle East. The letter called on the Administration to support an immediate ceasefire, de-escalation, and restraint by all involved.
