Disciples Musician donating proceeds to Global Ministries
Nathan Brooks has announced that a portion of the proceeds from his album, Dream in Truths, will be donated to Global Ministries.
Global Ministries was part of “Rockin’ the Ritz!” On Saturday, September 10th, singer/songwriter Nathan Brooks held a concert at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, Florida for the release of his album Dream in Truths. At the concert, Nathan announced that not only would a portion of the proceeds from that concert be donated to Global Minsitries, but further that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every album would be donated. Global Ministries staff member David Owen, and his wife Roxi, were on hand for the launch of Dream in Truths. Nathan talked passionately about his support of Global Ministries and spoke eloquently about the impact of mission trips in shaping his life. Nathan shares his life and faith through his music and sees his promotion of Global Ministries as way to support the incredible work being done by Global Ministries partners around the world. In Nathan’s blog entry from August 4, he says mission trips changed his life and helped make him who he is. Nathan writes, “All of these experiences, friendships, time, and faith building, have helped form who I am, and are a large part of who I am as a songwriter as well. I want to not only be able to have a great record, and be able to share my faith in the way of singing and worship, but I also want to be able to support in other ways as well.”
In the coming weeks and months, Nathan will be touring and will be presenting concerts in homes and churches across the country. Some of these concerts will also help raise funds for the work of Global Ministries. If you happen to be in the Kansas City area on Wednesday, October 27th, Nathan will be holding another concert at Community Christian Church, 7:00pm – 9:00pm where, as it says in the promotional materials, “part of the proceeds go to Global Ministries doing amazing things all over the world!” Watch for tour dates or contact Nathan about scheduling a concert where you are!
