Hope: An Art Exhibit and Fundraiser

In honor of Congo Week, Friedens UCC will be hosting an art exhibit, presentation and fair trade exhibit entitled “Hope” that celebrates the strength and resilience of women. Proceeds from a silent auction will benefit Global Ministries and their support of the women and children of the Congo.

Art Exhibit Date: October 14th, 4pm-‐7pm
Location: Friedens UCC; 8300 South Meridian Street; Indianapolis, IN 46227

About: In honor of Congo Week, Friedens UCC will be hosting an art exhibit, presentation and fair trade exhibit entitled “Hope” that celebrates the strength and resilience of women. Proceeds from a silent auction will benefit Global Ministries and their support of the women and children of the Congo.

Submissions: Create and enter a piece of artwork inspired by the theme of HOPE.
Deadline is SEPTEMBER 1st, 2012.
A panel of judges will announce a best in show award for each category the day of the event. Once you have submitted your artwork you will receive a confirmation email which will include more information, including details on when to drop off artwork prior to the show.

Dimensions (Size)
Medium (Oil Painting, Sculpture, Wood Carving,etc.)
Special Instructions (How to display, which direction is up, etc.)
Brief Explanation of Piece
Answer the following question:

Are you the owner and creator of this piece of artwork? YES or NO.
*If No, we can not accept this piece of artwork into the show.
Are you willing to donate your work for the silent auction? YES or NO.
*If Yes, acknowledge that you understand that 100% of the proceeds will go to Global Ministries.
