Mission LIVE Hungary Webinar with the Medyesys, Missionaries in Hungary, scheduled for Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 8:00pm EST.
Laslo and Coralyn Medyesy, are Global Ministries missionaries serving the Reformed Church of Hungary. Laslo is a Professor of Theology in Department of Theology at the Karoli Gaspar University and the Reformed University in Budapest. Coralyn is a teacher of Social Work and Diakonia and has taught pastoral counseling and English Conversation classes. She is involved in the preparation of future teachers in church-related schools in the Teacher Training Facility of Gaspar Karoli Reformed University, Nagykoros, Hungary.
You may ask: What’s a webinar? It’s a way to view a PowerPoint presentation through the internet. You will see the presenter in a video box on your computer screen. You will hear their voice through your computer speakers as they walk through the PowerPoint presentation on your screen. You can ask questions at the end of the presentation through a chat window. It’s an incredible multi-media resource that brings our GM missionaries and partners to your computer!

If a classroom or the sanctuary in your congregation is equipped with high-speed internet and an LCD projector, you can get your mission committee together or whole congregation to see what your Disciples and UCC mission dollars are doing. What a great way to learn about the situation first hand and hear how we can continue to accompany our partners in their vision for the future.
