Botswana Synod – United Congregational Church of Southern Africa (UCCSA)

Botswana Synod is one of 5 synods comprising the United Congregational Church of Southern Africa. It is one of the largest Protestant churches in this nation, with approximately 1.6 million inhabitants. There are about seventy local churches with membership varying between 100 and 2500. The various organizations responsible for the church’s spiritual growth are The Church School, Christian Youth, the various choirs, Soldiers of Christ, and the Women’s Fellowship. The Synod is engaged in various social and economic projects: Kgodisong Orphanage and Day Care Centre, poultry and garden project, Lephoi Centre for the Blind, and Sedibeng Skills Training Centre.
