Founded in 1978, the Belize Council of Churches comprises all the churches in Belize. The services each church offers its community depends on the town, district, and denomination, but the services align with the mission of the Council. Some examples of services include the Mercy Kitchen in Belize City and Outreach Today in Punta Gorda.
The Belize Council of Churches’ mission statement is, “Being the prophetic voice to the nation through Jesus Christ.”
