We continue to pray for peace in Colombia and for a bilateral ceasefire between the Colombian armed forces and the FARC. Pray for all the communities that continue to live in the midst of insecurity and the threat of violence. Pray for the churches that act as places of safety and agents of reconciliation in the midst of uncertainty.
We pray for farming communities across the country that depend on agriculture for their livelihood. We pray that they will have access to land and fair prices for their crops. We also pray for those who are impacted by aerial fumigations, as well as for safety of those, such as Mennonite Brethren from Choco, who are denouncing the fumigations of their food crops.
We pray for all those who have lost loved ones to the conflict. As mass graves are exhumed in the search for the disappeared, we pray that justice will be achieved and that families will have closure.
We pray for those who are displaced or living as refugees, not only for the over 6 million internally displaced in Colombia, but also around the world.
