Argentina is located in Southern South America, bordering the South Atlantic Ocean, between Chile and Uruguay.
Once the most European of South American countries, Argentina continues to recuperate from the scars left by the military dictatorship of the 1970s. After 20 years of pleading with the authorities, groups such as the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, the Ecumenical Movement for Human Rights, and others have just begun to find answers for what happened to their loved ones who disappeared. In the midst of this, churches face the challenge of ministering to a country afflicted by the deterioration of a once-wealthy economy.

- The Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo continue their search for the children taken away from their parents during the “dirty war” of the late 1970s. As they grow older and weary, the children are now adults.
