China

China is located in Eastern Asia, bordering the East China Sea, Korea Bay, Yellow Sea, and South China Sea, between North Korea and Vietnam.

Global Ministries’ emphasis in China includes educational and community development programs particularly in the poorer provinces, and education for young girls and minorities living in rural communities. Global Ministries also supports the growing church in China through education of the next generation of church leaders. Partners in China who host our missionaries include the Amity Foundation, which provides a variety of social, educational and community programs; Nanjing Theological Seminary, which develops leaders for the church in China; and the Sichuan TV and Radio University, which provides education to over 150,000 students, particularly in rural areas, through remote learning centers.
