Pray for Brazil on Sunday, August 2, 2009

Lectionary Texts Psalm 51; John 6:24-35 and Prayers for: Brazil

O God, our sustainer the source of us with grateful hearts we give thanks for you and for your many gifts shared and the gift of your son.  See us in the way you have made us and continue in us your expanding love, purity of heart and right spirit.  Keep us strong in this time of change and give us a willing spirit as we experience these times.  In this moment of prayer we hold the health educators’ program initiated by Ms. DeSouza in our attentive contemplation.  Make this and other programs become stronger as the time of transition continues entirely under the leadership of those for which it was started.  Strengthen them and give them vision to lead and make well knowing their power to heal is from your endless gift of life.
