“Screams from Under the Fire” – DSPR update from Gaza: June 2024
The Middle East Council of Churches’ Department of Service to Palestinian Refugees (DSPR) shared the following update on its continued efforts to provide relief and response in Gaza, saying:
We are sharing the screams of our colleagues in Gaza, who are showing unbelievable commitment and dedication, to continue their mission in serving the most needy people in different locations in Gaza strip. Today [June 12, 2024] they reported about their treatment and support to more than 900 children and women. The increasing need for all basic services is unprecedented, especially for food and medication.
Our staff, who see the pain of the people in Gaza, are insisting to do more and more, we became concerned about the safety of our teams, their physical and psychological situation, especially after the failure of all attempts to stop this crazy war.
We are sharing their screams and trying to amplify their voice to urge you put more pressure to contribute to ending this human massacre.
