South Sudan Council of Churches release statement addressing ongoing violence and a path forward
Global Ministries recently received the following statement from the South Sudan Council of Churches addressing the ongoing violence in the country as well as sharing a way to move forward so that peace can be re-established in this new country. The letter calls for human rights, democracy, and an equitable sharing in the country’s natural resources. In the letter they cite Ephesians 4:14-15 “We must no longer be children, tossed to and fro and blown about by every wind of doctne, by peoples trickery, by their craftiness and deceitful scheming. But speaking truth in love, we muse grow up in every way in him who is the head, into Christ”
