Webinar with YWCA of Palestine

A recent webinar took place on Friday, May 14, 2021 with guests from the YWCA of Palestine, the Central Pacific Conference Palestine/Israel Network, Central Pacific Conference Wider Church Ministries, and Peter Makari, Executive for the Middle East and Europe Office of Global Ministries.

The webinar included a brief film produced by the YWCA of Palestine, a live conversation with the representatives of the YWCA of Palestine on their work with refugees, and an overview of this partnership with YWCA of Palestine by Dr. Peter Makari, Global Ministries Area Executive for the Middle East and Europe. Additionally, the Central Pacific Conference Palestine/Israel Network will shared about a recent campaign to support the work of the YWCA of Palestine with Palestinian refugees with food parcels, hygiene kits, medical supplies, and critical medical equipment.

Speakers from the YWCA of Palestine included: Amal Tarazi, National Director/YWCA of Palestine, Ropina Rafidi, Executive Manager/YWCA of Ramallah, and Nazar Halteh, Executive Manager/YWCA of Jericho.
