YWCA of Palestine: Happy International Women’s Day!

On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the National Director of the YWCA of Palestine Amal Tarazi sends a message to all women and young women, especially in Palestine. On this day, and every day, we celebrate and champion women and young women’s leadership while reminding the world governments and policymakers that they have a moral obligation to promote and ensure gender equality and respect for women’s rights. We might have achieved some progress, but we still have a long way to go! In the coming few days, we will be sharing stories of Palestinian young women leaders who have and continue to defy the odds to contribute to building a better society and a brighter future for all.
